| 1. | GIScience: Definition of GIScience as a subset of information science, as the systematic study accordning to scientific principles of the nature and properties of information (geopgraphical information). Understanding GIS as Geographical Information System, and Geographical Information Science. Interaction between GIScience, individuals and society. Re-examines some of the most fundamental themes in traditional spatially oriented fields such as geography, cartography, and geodesy, while incorporating more recent developments in cognitive and information science, (Duckman et. al 2004). | W1, U1, K1, K2 | Lectures |
| 2. | Crowdsourcing Spatial Thinking Resources across Disciplines: Students preparing project concerning crowdsourcing spatial thinking across disciplines. | W1, U1, K1, K2 | Project classes |

Rules of participation in given classes, indicating whether student presence at the lecture is obligatory
Lectures: Studenci uczestniczą w zajęciach poznając kolejne treści nauczania zgodnie z syllabusem przedmiotu. Studenci winni na bieżąco zadawać pytania i wyjaśniać wątpliwości. Rejestracja audiowizualna wykładu wymaga zgody prowadzącego. Project classes: Studenci wykonują prace praktyczne mające na celu uzyskanie kompetencji zakładanych przez syllabus. Ocenie podlega sposób wykonania projektu oraz efekt końcowy.
