The use of interface to filter displayed items changes the subpages, and therefore their titles. The change is implicit and may disorient the user.
Lack of minimum contrast in some tiles that represent individual faculties.

Architectural accessibility

Main Building of the AGH University of Krakow (A-0) — al. Mickiewicza 30, 30-059 Kraków

Accessibility of the entrance to the building and passing through control areas

The main entrance to the building is located at al. Mickiewicza 30. There are stairs at the entrance (7 steps), thus it is not accessible to wheelchair users.

There is an entrance with a lift adapted for wheelchair users at the back of the building from the northern courtyard. At the entrance and exit of the courtyard, there are intercoms installed to contact the reception when the gate is closed. People with mobility impairments cannot access the reception, as it is located in between floors, 6 steps from the -1 floor and 16 steps from the ground floor.

Accessibility of corridors, stairs, and lifts

The corridors in the building allow for free movement, as there are no differences in levels. Access to the basement level and parts of the lower ground floor (to the northern and southern wings) is limited.

The stairs do not have special accommodations for people with disabilities, except for the access to rooms 380-383, where a stair lift has been installed.

The building is equipped with 3 passenger lifts:

two internal lifts, measuring 1.1x1.3 m, moving between the -1 floor (lower ground floor) and the 3rd floor (-1, 0, 1, 2, 3), partially adapted to the needs of people with disabilities,
an external elevator, serving as an entrance/exit from the northern courtyard, adapted for people with disabilities, moving between the ground level outside the building (P) and the 2nd floor (P, -1, 0, 1, 2).

The elevators are equipped with audio announcements and Braille labels.

There are two toilets for people with disabilities in the building, located on the first and third floor.

The AGH University Assembly Hall is equipped with an FM system to assist with hearing.

Information about the location and use of parking spaces for people with disabilities

There is a designated parking space for people with disabilities in the internal parking area, located by the entrance (elevator) adapted for people with disabilities.

The parking area is accessible from ul. Reymonta 7 (main gate). It is restricted by a barrier with an intercom and a service station. It is possible to apply for a card to open the barrier or request assistance from an employee of the AGH University Security Services.
