Kształcenie na studiach Informatyka – Data Science dostarcza wiedzy i kluczowych kompetencji w zagadnieniach analizy danych, metod uczenia maszynowego i sztucznej inteligencji oraz projektowania i realizacji systemów informatycznych opartych na danych. Absolwenci posiadają szeroką wiedzę w zakresie, między innymi, metod eksploracji danych, statystycznego uczenia maszynowego, sieci neuronowych oraz algorytmów przetwarzania i rozumienia języka naturalnego. Ponadto biegle posługują się językiem angielskim technicznym oraz posiadają kompetencje społeczne niezbędne w pracy zespołowej i realizacji złożonych projektów informatycznych. Kierunek Informatyka – Data Science zapewnia również kompetencje w zakresie planowania i realizacji prac badawczych oraz ustawicznego uzupełniania zdobytej wiedzy dziedzinowej. Dzięki tym efektom kształcenia absolwenci kierunku Informatyka – Data Science są przygotowani do pracy zawodowej w renomowanych, międzynarodowych przedsiębiorstwach informatycznych tworzących i oferujących rozwiązania oparte na danych i systemach uczących się.
