Materials and Technologies for Automotive Industry

2023/2024, Second-cycle (engineer) programme, Part-time studies

Kierunek Tworzywa i Technologie Motoryzacyjne na II stopniu studiów niestacjonarnych realizowany w dużym stopniu (do 50% pkt ECTS koniecznych do ukończenia studiów na danym poziomie) w postaci e-learningu, został utworzony w odpowiedzi na pojawiające się zapotrzebowanie podniesienia kwalifikacji przez absolwentów studiów I stopnia Wydziału Odlewnictwa. Ma to związek z coraz silniejszą pozycją polskiego przemysłu odlewniczego w światowej produkcji samochodowej. Program kierunku został dostosowany do potrzeb światowych trendów w dziedzinie wytwarzania wyrobów metalowych przy użyciu technologii odlewniczych dla branży automotive.

Absolwent tego kierunku będzie posiadać wiedzę oraz doświadczenie, które uczynią go konkurencyjnym na krajowym i międzynarodowym rynku pracy. Będzie przygotowany do podjęcia zatrudnienia m.in. w firmach z szeroko pojętej branży automotive, w instytutach badawczych, a także do prowadzenia własnej działalności gospodarczej.

Na rynku krajowym, na którym działa około 400 odlewni oraz na rynku UE, gdzie funkcjonuje około 5.000 odlewni, istnieje olbrzymie zapotrzebowanie na magistrów inżynierów o profilu odlewniczym. Z dotychczasowej analizy karier zawodowych wynika, iż większość (~ 80%) absolwentów Wydziału Odlewnictwa znajduje pracę w zawodzie już w pierwszym roku po zakończeniu studiów.
