Materials and Technologies for Energy and Aviation
Program studiów zaproponowany na interdyscyplinarnym kierunku Materiały i Technologie dla Energetyki i Lotnictwa przygotowuje absolwenta do pracy w dynamicznie rozwijających się sektorach gospodarki opartych na nowoczesnych materiałach i tworzywach. Zdobyta na tym kierunku wiedza, między innymi z zakresu nowoczesnych tworzyw i zaawansowanych technologii, procesów degradacji materiałów przeznaczonych do ekstremalnych zastosowań, powinno gwarantować wysoką konkurencyjność na rynku pracy. Absolwent kierunku zdobędzie także umiejętności obsługi oprogramowania inżynierskiego stosowanego m.in. w procesach symulacyjnych krystalizacji stopów, kształtowania naprężeń czy przewidywania możliwości powstawania wad w projektowanych wyrobach. W swojej przyszłej pracy będzie mógł wykorzystywać zdobytą wiedzę również w ocenie materiałów stosując zaawansowane metody badawcze. Zrealizowanie tak atrakcyjnego programu kształcenia pozwoli na podjęcie pracy zawodowej zarówno w krajowych jak i zagranicznych przedsiębiorstwach, których działalność związana jest z wspomnianymi gałęziami przemysłu. Ze względu na interdyscyplinarność zdobytego wykształcenia, popartego najnowszą wiedzą inżynierską absolwent będzie mógł pracować zarówno w firmach produkcyjnych z branż związanych z high-technology, jednostkach doradczych czy instytutach badawczo-rozwojowych.
