Metals Engineering
Program studiów II stopnia na kierunku Inżynieria Metali został opracowany w oparciu o zapotrzebowanie krajowego przemysłu na absolwentów posiadających zaawansowaną wiedzę z zakresu inżynierii materiałowej tworzyw metalicznych oraz umiejętności i kompetencje umożliwiające im swobodne wejście na rynek pracy.
W zależności od wybranej specjalności: Inżynieria jakości, Inżynieria powierzchni, Inżynieria spajania lub Materiały inżynierskie, absolwenci mogą znaleźć zatrudnienie jako specjaliści z zakresu analityki i kontroli jakości, technologii spajania materiałów, projektowania, wytwarzania i charakterystyki stali i innych materiałów o specjalnych własnościach dla potrzeb różnych gałęzi nowoczesnego przemysłu.
Wydział Inżynierii Metali i Informatyki Przemysłowej AGH poszczycić się może współpracą z wieloma zakładami przemysłowymi do których należą m.in. Pratt & Whitney, General Electric Poland, ArcelorMittal Poland, KGHM Polska Miedź, CELSA GROUP, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Poland, CMC Zawiercie, ABB, Silvermedia, Asseco Poland, Comarch i Macrologic. Ponadto współpracuje z wieloma instytutami naukowymi oraz badawczymi, w tym z Instytutem Metalurgii i Inżynierii Materiałowej PAN oraz instytutami wchodzącymi w skład Sieć Badawczej Łukasiewicz.
