Environmental Protection and Engineering
Studenci kształceni są w ramach profilu ogólnoakademickiego. Oprócz wiedzy i umiejętności przygotowujących do prowadzenia badań naukowych, uzyskują również możliwość podjęcia pracy w firmach projektowych i wykonawczych z branży hydrogeologii stosowanej, geotechniki, gospodarki odpadami, odnawialnych źródeł energii, jako inżynierowie nadzoru zajmujący się ochroną i inżynierią środowiska, gospodarką odpadami, pracownicy działów rozwoju firm, a także jako specjaliści w działach związanych z ochroną i inżynierią środowiska oraz zagospodarowaniem przestrzennym w jednostki administracji rządowej i samorządowej lub instytutów naukowo-badawczych oraz w firmach konsultingowych.
Absolwenci znajdują zatrudnienie w krajowych i zagranicznych firmach zajmujących się poszukiwaniem, dokumentowaniem i eksploatacją złóż kopalin, organach administracji państwowej i samorządowej, a także w przemyśle górniczym.
Absolwenci mogą kontynuować studia na studiach II stopnia na tym samym kierunku lub na kierunku o zbliżonym profilu, co pozwola im na pogłębienie wiedzy i umiejętności praktycznych w zakresie wybranej specjalności.
