Ceramics

2021/2022, First-cycle (engineer) programme, Full-time studies

Kierunek Ceramika związany jest z obszarem dyscypliny naukowej Inżynieria Chemiczna, obejmującej zarówno dziedzinę nauk chemicznych, jak i technicznych. Kształcenie w ramach kierunku Ceramika zapewnia Studentom zdobycie wiedzy i umiejętności związanych z materiałami i technologiami ceramicznymi, obejmujących również wzornictwo ceramiki i technologię szkła. Program kierunku Ceramika zapewnia kluczową wiedzę dla osób projektujących wyroby lub dekoracje ceramiczne lub technologów zajmujących się wdrażaniem nowych wyrobów i/lub dekoracji do produkcji.
Absolwenci kierunku Ceramika są poszukiwanymi i wartościowymi pracownikami przemysłu ceramicznego oraz przemysłu o profilu ukierunkowanym na produkcję oraz wykorzystanie materiałów ceramicznych. Absolwenci kierunku Ceramika są zatrudniani jako inżynierowie nadzoru i eksperci materiałowi, technolodzy w branżach związanych zarówno z nowoczesnymi, jak i tradycyjnymi rozwiązaniami związanymi z przemysłem ceramicznym, specjaliści z zakresu projektowania, modelowania, wytwarzania i badania materiałów związanych z przemysłem ceramicznym i szklarskim. Wydział ma zapewnienie współpracy w procesie dydaktycznym z Zakładem Ceramika Artystyczna w Bolesławcu, Zakładami Porcelany Ćmielów" i “Chodzież” oraz firmą Ceramika Tubądzin. Zakłady będą udostępniać materiały do przeprowadzenia ćwiczeń praktycznych oraz mogą być miejscem praktyk studenckich. Wydział współpracuje również w tym zakresie z firmami zagranicznymi mającymi przedstawicielstwa w Polsce. Są to: Colorobbia Polska Sp. z o.o., Torrecid Group Poland, SACMI oraz System Ceramics Poland.
