Kierunek Computer Science for Embedded Systems (studia I i II stopnia) pozwala zdobyć praktyczną wiedzę i umiejętności potrzebne do projektowania nowoczesnych systemów wbudowanych – czyli takich, które działają np. w samochodach, robotach, urządzeniach IoT czy sprzęcie medycznym.
Studenci uczą się, jak tworzyć, testować i rozwijać rozwiązania technologiczne – od poziomu sprzętu po zaawansowane oprogramowanie. Program obejmuje m.in.
- programowanie niskopoziomowe i wysokopoziomowe,
- układy cyfrowe i systemy wbudowane
- systemy operacyjne czasu rzeczywistego (RTOS),
- technologie przyspieszania obliczeń (FPGA, GPGPU),
- bezpieczeństwo systemów.
- Kierunek wyróżnia się silnym naciskiem na nowoczesne, złożone systemy embedded – ich niezawodność, efektywność energetyczną oraz integrację sprzętu i oprogramowania.
Dodatkowo studenci zdobywają kompetencje z zakresu:
- analizy danych i rozpoznawania wzorców,
- przetwarzania obrazu i dźwięku,
- elementów sztucznej inteligencji.
Dzięki temu potrafią tworzyć inteligentne systemy, które analizują otoczenie i podejmują decyzje w czasie rzeczywistym. Takie połączenie embedded systems i AI stanowi unikalny element tego kierunku.
Program kładzie duży nacisk na praktykę – obejmuje laboratoria, projekty zespołowe oraz pracę z profesjonalnymi narzędziami do symulacji, testowania i optymalizacji. Studenci zdobywają umiejętności zgodne z aktualnymi wymaganiami rynku pracy.
W trakcie studiów rozwijane są także kompetencje miękkie, takie jak: praca zespołowa, komunikacja, zarządzanie czasem. Przygotowuje to absolwentów do pracy w interdyscyplinarnych zespołach oraz do pełnienia ról wymagających zarówno wiedzy technicznej, jak i umiejętności organizacyjnych.
